Active Music Top Producer Of The Week Across All Platforms Fully Active

ree

Meet the man behind the sound of the next generation in dancehall reggae music. He goes by the name of Trappy aka Trappy Active, the CEO/Founder & Producer of Active Musik. He is the executive producer of all the projects that go out including the hit song "Cream of the Crop" by Jashii. The Kingston native, hailing from Portmore, Former Norman Manley High prodigy, Christopher Coombs confidently says "I have countless hit songs out there, time for people to get to know the face behind the music". He seems sure of himself when he expresses his advice to aspiring musicians that you need to have self confidence and to make sure you are surrounded by people who look out for your personal interests and not just the benefits involved. It's exciting to watch the evolution of a producer who isn't afraid to take chances and work with the fresh new crop of emerging artists writing lyrical bangers on his beats. Trappy has worked & produced for talents such as Jafrass (Patience), Stacious(Love Story), Malie Donn(Crook), Ai Milly (God Alone), Silk Boss(Temptation), Chxpz (Love Fake), Razor B and waiting for the ever popular Jah Vinci to get on a riddim he created, to name a few. Right now Trappy Active says he's putting emphasis on his recent project called "Heartless" by Nation Boss and the Blessings riddim buzzing as we speak. Coombs says his studio has everything needed to make the beat, mix and master and at times they sample experienced mixers working with upcoming artists, literally from nothing to something. It's refreshing to hear how the Active Music CEO keeps it versatile and has that winning mindset where he thinks completely out the box. Trappy is clearly ahead of his time and can see the bigger picture as he progresses in the business. He makes a great point when he mentioned that the music market isn't just in Jamaica but overseas as well, and he is not just working with dancehall but also reggae, pop and all different genres. Active says he's been approached for interviews but hasn't taken much on due to the fact that he's been dedicating his time to the working side of the biz but hes ready to make his mark. He tells us he likes our platform and this is why we are here at this point with Jamaica's new hitmaker breaking out and continuously experiencing different genres and vibes creating a new motion in the present day.
