The war may be over, but for recording artiste Compass, the marathon continues.

Following a highly publicized lyrical battle with dancehall superstar Demarco, Compass has continued to build momentum with his latest track, “Arcus.” The song arrives as another chapter in what has become a defining period for the artiste, demonstrating that his lyrical drive did not end when the battle did.

“Arcus” follows Compass’ series of releases during the lyrical confrontation, with the artiste continuing to attract attention from dancehall listeners and viewers across digital platforms.

The impact of the battle was also reflected on YouTube Trending in Jamaica, where “Killshot” reached #27 and “Eulogy” reached #28. The placements added another notable moment to Compass’ battle campaign, highlighting the level of attention surrounding his releases.

During the lyrical battle, Compass released a string of songs that kept listeners engaged, including “Eulogy,” “Killshot,” “Don Gorgon,” “Machiavellian,” and “Hard Fi War Mi.” According to the figures supplied to Jamweekly Magazine, “Eulogy” accumulated approximately 32,000 views, “Killshot” around 50,000, “Don Gorgon” around 50,000, “Machiavellian” approximately 45,000, and “Hard Fi War Mi” around 52,000 views.

Rather than allowing the lyrical clash to become the final chapter, Compass has continued releasing music. His latest track, “Arcus,” represents that next phase a post-battle statement that there is still work to be done and more music to deliver.

“CORRUPT” ADDS TO THE MOMENTUM

Compass also recently released “Corrupt,” produced by 1Prim3Tim3 Music.

Released on August 28, 2026, “Corrupt” is available across major digital streaming platforms, adding another release to Compass’ growing 2026 catalogue.

With the battle behind him and new music already in circulation, Compass is showing that his ambitions extend beyond lyrical competition. The attention generated by the battle has created another platform for the artiste to continue developing his sound, expanding his catalogue and reaching new listeners.

For Compass, the battle may be over, but the journey is far from finished.

The war is over. The marathon continues. And with “Arcus,” Compass is already writing the next chapter.
