In a world where authenticity often gets lost in trends, Alexandre Jones, widely known as Bashy, continues to stand firm in his truth using music, storytelling, business and life experiences to inspire others. As the founder of Collect Di Bred Entertainment, Bashy has built a name rooted in culture, resilience, and purpose.
A creative entrepreneur, music producer, author, and storyteller, Bashy’s journey did not begin with fame or recognition. Instead, it was shaped by real-life experiences, struggles, fatherhood, pain, faith, and an undeniable love for Jamaican culture.
“I have always believed in turning my experiences into something meaningful that can inspire others,” Bashy shared.
His brand can be described in five powerful words: authentic, emotional, motivational,
cultural, and purpose-driven. Whether through music production, books, or family-focused
content, every project carries a deeper message one designed to connect with people on
a personal level.
Building Legacy Through Entertainment
One of Bashy’s proudest accomplishments has been playing a key role in helping his
brother, Dancehall artiste Chronic Law, build the One Law Entertainment brand while
simultaneously developing his own label, Collect Di Bred Entertainment. Through loyalty,
vision, and determination, Bashy has transformed personal experiences into meaningful
creative ventures.
But for Bashy, success is not measured only by music and business.
One of his most heartfelt and deeply personal projects is his book, A Letter To My Fallen
Star From Dad, inspired by the love and memory of his daughter, Alexandrianna Amara
Jones, lovingly called Star.

The book explores themes of love, grief, healing, faith, and a father’s everlasting bond
with his child. More than just a story, it serves as a reminder that love never truly ends.
“The message behind the book is that love does not end when someone leaves
this world. A child’s memory can live forever through purpose, faith, and legacy,”
he expressed.
Adding to his growing list of accomplishments is the release of “I.C.E.” with Chronic Law,
produced by Bashy alongside renowned producer Notnice. The project symbolizes growth,
teamwork, and the power of meaningful collaborations.
According to Bashy, I.C.E. represents more than music — it is a statement of resilience,
vision, and hard work.
A Creative Process Rooted in Real Life For Bashy, creativity begins with emotion. His process starts by reflecting on real-life experiences and identifying the message he wants people to feel. From there, he carefully builds concepts, visuals, sounds, and stories until every detail reflects authenticity.
“I stay focused on making it authentic and powerful,” he explained.
Like many creatives, Bashy has faced personal loss, business challenges, and moments of
emotional hardship. Losing his daughter became one of the most painful chapters of his life
yet instead of allowing grief to define him, he chose to transform pain into purpose.
Through faith, family, hard work, and determination, he found strength to keep building.
Words for Upcoming Creatives
For aspiring creatives hoping to break into the industry, Bashy offers simple but powerful
advice:
“Stay true to yourself. Use your real story, your real pain, and your real passion
to create something the world can feel.
Success takes time, but purpose will always carry you through.”
What’s Next for Bashy?
Supporters can expect more music projects through Collect Di Bred Entertainment,
exciting collaborations, books, children’s educational content, and family-centered
storytelling ventures. Among those projects are Learning With Baby Star,
Tim & Rufus, a Jamaican-inspired educational platform dedicated to children —
a project especially close to his heart and one that continues to honor legacy,
culture, and love.
Despite his many roles as a producer, entrepreneur, and author, Bashy says one thing
people may not know is that family remains at the center of everything he does.
“Being a father is one of the most important parts of who I am.”
