Veteran reggae artiste Dillgin delivered one of the most heartfelt moments of Reggae Jam 2026 in Germany when he paused his performance to pay tribute to the late reggae icon Fantan Mojah.
The emotional tribute resonated with thousands of fans gathered at one of Europe’s premier reggae festivals. Dillgin honored Fantan Mojah’s contribution to reggae music, acknowledging the conscious messages, powerful lyrics, and lasting legacy the late artiste left behind. The audience responded with loud applause as they joined in celebrating the life and music of one of Jamaica’s most respected cultural voices.
This year’s staging of Reggae Jam featured an impressive lineup of reggae and dancehall stars from Jamaica and across the globe. Among the performers were Tarrus Riley, Alborosie, Inner Circle, Konshens, T.O.K., Stylo G, Queen Omega, Demarco, King Kong, Echo Minott, Errol Dunkley, Skarra Mucci, ManuDigital, Italee, Ganjaman, Nosliw, Nattyflo, General Levy, and several other international acts, making it one of the festival’s strongest lineups in recent years.
Fantan Mojah had originally been announced as part of the 2026 Reggae Jam lineup before his passing, making Dillgin’s tribute even more meaningful for festivalgoers and fellow artistes.
