DJ LUX GIVES THANKS WITH NEW SINGLE “GIVE THANKS”
Dancehall reggae artiste DJ Lux is stepping forward from behind the production desk and into the spotlight with his latest single, “Give Thanks,” a heartfelt release centered on gratitude, faith, perseverance and the importance of trusting God through life’s challenges.Released on August 21, 2026, “Give Thanks” is distributed under Heatwave Ent. / JVM Ent. and is available across all major digital streaming platforms. The accompanying music video is also available on DJ Lux’s YouTube channel, DjLux876.The song was created with a simple but powerful intention: to encourage listeners to remain grateful to The Creator regardless of the circumstances they may face.
For DJ Lux, the message is about maintaining faith, staying focused and refusing to give up while allowing God to handle the problems that may arise along the journey.Describing the track as refreshing, wholesome and built around clean lyrics, DJ Lux hopes “Give Thanks” will connect with listeners who appreciate positive music and messages that uplift rather than tear down. The release also represents an important personal step in DJ Lux’s musical journey.
While he has previously worked on tracks featuring other artistes, “Give Thanks” puts him in a different position he is the artiste behind the vocals this time around.“The difference between this song and my previous releases is that on other tracks, there are other artistes singing songs that I produce. In ‘Give Thanks,’ I am the one that’s actually singing the song.”Beyond the music itself, DJ Lux sees the track as an opportunity to tell stories through his artistry. His long-term goal is to use music to tell his own life story while also highlighting the experiences and realities of others. The single has already begun building momentum, receiving steady radio rotation, with Digital Chris and Xavier among those supporting the song. Social media has also been playing an important role in helping “Give Thanks” reach a wider audience.
The accompanying music video, which was also handled by DJ Lux, is available to stream on YouTube via DjLux876.Looking ahead, DJ Lux plans to continue developing himself as an artiste while delivering more positive music. Rather than rushing into an EP, he is currently focused on releasing singles and allowing each song to build its own identity. With “Give Thanks,” DJ Lux delivers a timely reminder that even through difficult seasons, gratitude and faith can remain powerful sources of strength. His message is straightforward: never give up, stay focused and always give thanks to God.FOLLOW DJ LUXInstagram: @DjLux876TikTok: @DjLux876Facebook: DjLux876YouTube: DjLux876
