INPHA REBLITIVE GETS PERSONAL WITH “STATE OF MIND”

For recording artiste Inpha Reblitive, being asked “Are you alright?” hasn’t always been an easy question to answer.
That experience became part of the inspiration behind his single “State of Mind,” a song that speaks to the struggles people often deal with behind closed doors while those around them may have no idea what they are going through.
Inpha says the song came from a very real place in his own life.
During the COVID period, he found himself under increasing pressure after revenue from his business came to a halt. With a family to provide for and his own responsibilities to deal with, he admits that he kept much of what he was going through to himself.
“Being a man, I felt like I had to bottle up everything and act as if everything was good, even when people were asking if I was alright,” he said.
That period not only affected his state of mind, but also made him look differently at the people around him and question how much support is really there when things get difficult.
Knowing that his experience was not unique also played a big part in his decision to put those feelings into music.
“I know a lot of people are going through things they don't openly talk about. I wanted them to hear the song and be able to relate, but also get a sense of who I am as a human being,” Inpha said.
Produced by 343 Muzik, “State of Mind” was an emotional record for the artiste to create.
“I could feel the goosebumps while recording it because everything was coming from a pure place,” he recalled.
The song's official video, shot and directed by PatoKreationz, was released on July 29 and has already pulled in more than 500,000 views. The visuals show Inpha in moments of solitude and reflection, matching the mood and subject of the record.
He says the response on TikTok has stood out to him as well, with people using the comments to share some of the situations they have faced in their own lives.
For Inpha, that response shows that people are connecting with exactly what he wanted to say.
“State of Mind” also gives listeners a look at the direction he is taking with his music. Drawing from his own experiences and upbringing, he wants to make more records that people can relate to while still showing his versatility as an artiste.
“I can touch different topics from different viewpoints, and that's something I want people to hear in my music,” he said.

With the record continuing to gain attention, Inpha hopes “State of Mind” will encourage more listeners to explore the rest of his catalogue and ultimately help him build a wider fan base.
He is already working on new music with DJ Kunteh, ChuckStar, Redmond Records and 343 Muzik, with his team exploring different sounds that will show more sides of him as an artiste.
“State of Mind” is available on all major streaming platforms.
