Brooklyn-born artist Leah Ray is embracing confidence, authenticity and self-expression with her latest single, “Big Mad,” released August 28, 2026 through First Responder Music.
The Hip-Hop/Rap release is an energetic and playful statement from an artist who is determined to encourage listeners to embrace who they are, pursue their goals and refuse to allow outside opinions to dictate their journey.
Available across major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and other digital music services, “Big Mad” draws inspiration from Leah Ray’s personal philosophy of confidence and manifestation. For the artist, the song represents what happens when someone becomes increasingly comfortable with the person they have envisioned themselves becoming.
“Big Mad” was created around the idea of being unapologetically yourself. Leah Ray explains that as people become more focused on their vision and begin creating the life they have been manifesting, not everyone will understand their journey. Leah currently works as a first responder with the New York City Fire Department and also serves in the U.S. Air Force.
