Mr. Banging turns another page into recording

Mr. Banging, the Mixtape King, was born Omar McNab in Rollington Town of East Kingston, Jamaica.

CD banging, Bangology or simply Mr. Banging has a career that spans over some 30 years as an entertainment practitioner and well-known for making hot Dancehall mixtapes for listeners who still play and vibe to CDs in their vehicles while traveling on long journeys, as well as on YouTube and any media player on their devices.


The mixtape selector is also a recording artiste, currently promoting his track titled “Bup”, a production by Claims Records. This multi-talent can be identified as a music producer and MC as well. He is presently signed to Claims Records which is owned by Short Boss and Gutty Bling, is the label known for bringing the likes of Skillibeng, Stylex and Gully Bop, among others, to stardom. The Mixtape King made his debut appearance on the last staging of Reggae Sumfest, kept on July 21st in Montego Bay.


Mr Banging has even accused Dancehall artiste and famous dancer, Ding Dong, recently for stealing his “Bup” song that he then later remixed with Dancehall star Kiprich. The track was accompanied by a music video which was shot with both artistes sharing scenes sporting spectacular looks throughout the entire video.

The artiste was asked by the JamWeekly Magazine reporter who are his target audience and he stated that he is trying to get his music across all borders and bridge the generational gap.
