Formerly known as ITA K, recording artiste Sekushii IV is entering a new chapter in her musical journey with a new identity, a fresh single and plans for an upcoming six-track EP.

The artiste recently made the transition from ITA K to Sekushii IV as she prepares to introduce audiences to a new catalogue and a new direction in her music.

Her June 2026 release, “The Love,” holds a special place in this transition, as it was the final song released under the name ITA K. Produced and distributed by Gowdie Ranks, the song is available across major digital music platforms, including iTunes.

While there is currently no music video attached to “The Love,” the song has received encouraging feedback, with support from Jamaican media outlets including Irie FM and SunCity Radio.

For the artiste, “The Love” is more than just another release. She describes it as one of her favourite songs and says the recording allowed her to share something deeply personal with the world.

“I love it. It’s actually my favourite song right now. I feel like I gave a piece of my heart out to the world,” she shared with Jamweekly Magazine.

Sekushii IV also expressed optimism about her experience working with producer Gowdie Ranks, describing the collaboration as one that leaves her feeling “very hopeful.”

A NEW NAME, A NEW BEGINNING

With the ITA K chapter now closed, Sekushii IV is officially introducing her new musical identity with her upcoming single “It’s Me Again.”

Set for release on October 2, 2026, “It’s Me Again” will be the first new song released under the Sekushii IV name, marking an important moment in the artiste’s evolution.

The title itself reflects the beginning of a new era, as Sekushii IV prepares to reconnect with existing listeners while introducing her new identity and musical direction to a wider audience.

Beyond the upcoming single, the artiste is also focused on her next major project a six-track EP titled “Earth Is a Savage Garden.” The project represents another step forward as she continues developing her sound and expanding her catalogue.

When it comes to the audience she hopes to reach, Sekushii IV says her music is for people who have not forgotten how to enjoy life while still appreciating substance.

Her target audience is “people that didn’t forget to have fun and appreciate meaningful lyrics.”

With “The Love” closing out the ITA K era and “It’s Me Again” opening the door to Sekushii IV, the artiste is embracing change while remaining focused on creating music that combines enjoyment, emotion and meaningful lyrics.
