Jamaican reggae/dancehall recording artist Vershon continues proving his inter- national staying power as
his hit single “Queen” transitions from chart success to the big screen, officially securing place- ment in the upcoming American film SWITCH, directed by film- maker Black Deniro of Won’t Quit Entertainment, known for productions including Dope Girls and Jennie.
Following its release, “Queen” made an early international impact, charting at #25 on the Global iTunes Reggae Chart and
SWITCH
Canada iTunes Reggae Chart, further solidifying Vershon’s relevance in today’s global reg- gae and dancehall market. With its uplifting message celebrating women, admiration, beauty, and empowerment, the single quickly resonated with audiences beyond the Caribbean.
Now, that same record is mak- ing its way into film, with Queen officially selected for placement in SWITCH an upcoming American production expected to premiere this summer before heading to major streaming platforms. The placement marks a significant
