Back to the Youth: Jenelle Alexia’s A’Legends Productions Teams Up with Navino for “Gonna Be”

Just in time for back-to-school season, Jenelle Alexia’s A’Legends Productions is turning its attention back to the youth with the upcoming motivational single “Gonna Be,” featuring Jamaican recording artist Navino, set for release August 28, 2026.

Originally created as part of the vision for Jenelle Alexia’s developing children’s app, Gonna Be carries a simple but powerful message: be encouraged to dream, believe in oneself and see possibility in who you can become.

The release brings together Jenelle’s work across entertainment with the youth-focused mission that has long been part of the A’Legends brand. As a published children’s author and literacy advocate, Jenelle has connected with thousands of students through school visits, book initiatives and community outreach in both the United States and Jamaica.

“Children hear so much about what they can’t do or what they won’t become. I wanted to give them something that says the opposite,” says Jenelle Alexia. “Gonna Be is about dreaming beyond what you see today and believing there is more ahead of you. At my age, I still believe there is more for me too.

The collaboration reunites Jenelle Alexia and Navino following previous creative work together, but this time with a record specifically designed to deliver a positive, family-friendly message to the next generation. With its August 28 release positioned during the back-to-school season, Gonna Be will serve as both a musical release and an introduction to the larger youth-centered vision Jenelle is continuing to develop through A’Legends Productions.
