Gizelle Steps Into the Spotlight with New Single Featuring Caano

Rising artist Gizelle is making waves in the music scene with her latest single, a smooth and soulful track titled Mine it, featuring Jamaican artist Caano. The track, produced by Chippy Beats and One Clearance Records, was officially released on January 18, 2025, and distributed by A-Nation Ent. Though not yet available on iTunes or other major digital platforms, the song has already gained significant traction internationally.

In an exclusive interview with JamWeekly Magazine, Gizelle shared how the collaboration came together quickly and organically. “Caano reached out to me one day and said, ‘Hey, I have a song I want you to be on.’ I heard it, loved it, and voiced my part in less than a day right from my phone while I was in the airport,” she recalled. “Even though I didn’t have my usual equipment due to traveling, I didn’t let that stop me.”

Despite its unconventional recording process, Mine it has received an outpouring of positive feedback. Fans describe it as a “sweet, smooth song” suitable for any time of the year. It’s currently enjoying airplay across multiple regions, including Africa, showcasing Gizelle’s growing global appeal.

While there is no video currently planned for the single, Gizelle is far from slowing down. She is already deep into her next project, a new single titled “Earthquake,” once again in collaboration with A-Nation Ent. With her unique blend of dancehall and pop crossover sounds, Gizelle aims to reach a broad and diverse audience.

When asked about her creative journey and working with her producers, she described it as a transformative experience. “It helped grow me and my voice a lot,” she said. “I love this song it’s one of my favorites in my catalog.”

Looking ahead, Gizelle is focused on quality over speed. “I don’t rush to release music,” she said. “I take my time to perfect my work so my fans can truly enjoy it.”
