T.O.K bringing couples together with “Sexy Time”

After years of the group’s separation, which led to individual successes, members of the Dancehall quartet, T.O.K, rejoined forces to make more music greatness together. Their most recent track, “Sexy Time”, is the very definition of coming together, but instead for couples.

Produced by the legendary Dave Kelly from Madhouse Records on the very popular Slow Motion Riddim and released on July 7, 2023, “Sexy Time” sets the right mood for intimacy, providing an overall groove for the calm before the “storm”. Though no music video was done, “Sexy Time” is readily available on all major platforms.

T.O.K has had a longstanding working relationship with Dave Kelly as well as great admiration and respect for the producer’s incredible talent. There is definitely mutual respect amongst them, as Kelly was one of several who was very instrumental in the group exploding onto the Dancehall scene.

“It is very easy to work with someone who sees your direction and is going the same way,” says group member, Alex.

They have a few collaborations in the works and new music coming soon for a potential album. Though T.O.K had been disbanded for so long and have only recently reunited, they have no doubt that their reputation will precede them and the music they have coming will provide success that could even supersede their previous ones.

“People love the unique unforgettable sound that we create when we record on a track and this song is no different. It just brings them back a reminder of what we can do and what the music industry missed,” continued Alex.

He further iterates, “T.O.K's brand of music is definitely meant for a global audience as it infuses a lot of international music as well as local influences to create a unique sound loved worldwide. Basically there's something there for everyone.”

With tours, new music and appearances all over the world, it’s safe to say that T.O.K will rise to top many times over as if they never left. Their impact on Dancehall and the industry left an indelible impression on all who are aware of their exemplary talents. There’s no doubt T.O.K will return to chart-topping ways in no time.
