I-OCTANE PREMIERES OFFICIAL “GOD & I” MUSIC VIDEO, REVEALING HIS MOST PERSONAL CONVERSATION YET
I-Octane releases the official music video for “God & I,” the deeply personal title track from his acclaimed album of the same name. Framed as an intimate conversation between the artist and God, the song offers a reflective look at I-Octane’s faith, journey, and the spiritual conviction behind his most recent album.
Released last April, God & I (album) has enjoyed a strong run across the charts, reaching the #1 position multiple times and continuing to resonate with audiences well beyond its initial release. The album has also produced a series of visuals, including “Opportunist,” “Powerful Story,” and “Walk Wid A Chip,” giving fans different perspectives into the world I-Octane created with the project.
Now, with the release of the title track, I-Octane is intentionally shifting the focus inward.
“This is one of my favorite songs on the project, so I wanted to release it when I felt the fans would really listen to it,” says I-Octane. “I made the team sit with it until I felt in my spirit it was the right time.”
For I-Octane, “God & I” was never intended to be a traditional promotional record. It is a personal exchange with God, one that he wanted listeners to experience rather than simply consume.
“This song is my personal conversation with God, so I did not want to make it a selling point for the album. ‘Opportunist’ did that. I needed this song to be one people feel and connect with, like they did with ‘Lose A Friend’ back in the day.”
The release also continues I-Octane’s creative partnership with ArmzHouse Records, who produced the track alongside Octane’s own label Conquer The Globe Productions.
“Working with Octane is always a great experience because he genuinely believes in his brand and his music,” says ArmzHouse Records. “That belief is reflected in how much work and intention he puts behind every project. He is willing to go the distance to make sure the music reaches the people it was created for, and that commitment is something we respect and value.”
The God & I album is exclusively produced by I-Octane and distributed by MusicXchange. The project’s creative direction is led by Bling Blang and management by Beautiful Ppl Mgt.
With “God & I,” I-Octane closes another chapter of the album’s journey by returning to the song at its spiritual center, not as a sales pitch, but as a moment of reflection, connection, and conversation.
